The first thing you need to do in order to create a WordPress website is to install WordPress. You can do this manually, or using a hosting service that offers one-click installs. We will cover both methods in this WordPress tutorial for beginners.
If you want to install WordPress yourself, you will need to have access to a web server running PHP and MySQL. Many hosting providers offer managed WordPress hosting, which takes care of these requirements for you. Once you have access to a web server, follow these steps to install WordPress:
1. Download the latest version of WordPress from https://wordpress.org/download/.
2. Unzip the downloaded file and upload it to your web server using FTP.
3. Create a MySQL database and user for WordPress.
4. Edit the wp-config-sample.php file and add your database information.
5) Run the installation by visiting http://example.com/wp-admin/install.php in your browser (replace example.com with your domain name).
6) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.”
