I was recently flagged on Craigslist for a post I made. I wasn’t sure why it was flagged, so I reached out to customer service. They told me that my post was flagged because it was in the wrong category. I was posting in the “For Sale” category, but my post was for a job.
I was surprised that my post was flagged, because I had seen other posts that were in the wrong category and they weren’t flagged. I asked customer service if there was anything I could do to prevent my post from being flagged in the future, and they told me that there wasn’t.
I was disappointed by this answer, because it seems like Craigslist is just arbitrarily flagging posts. I don’t know why my post was flagged, but I’m assuming it was because it was in the wrong category. I’m not sure what I could have done differently, but I’m going to be more careful about where I post in the future.
