Instead, focus on qualities that aren’t essential to the job but that could be a challenge for you. For example, if you’re applying for a job as a web developer, you might say that you’re not the best at coding but you’re willing to learn.
If you’re having trouble coming up with an answer, ask your friends or family for help. They’ll be able to give you an honest assessment of your strengths and weaknesses.
When you’re ready, be prepared to discuss how you overcame the challenge. For example, if you’re not great at public speaking, you might have taken a course or joined a club to improve your skills.
The most important thing is to be honest and positive. Interviewers want to know that you’re willing to work hard and that you’re not afraid of a challenge.
