In the previous parts of this series, we looked at how to install Selenium and Python, and how to use Selenium to automate web scraping. In this part, we will look at how to navigate between windows using Selenium.
One of the advantages of using Selenium for web scraping is that it allows you to navigate between windows. This can be useful for scraping data from multiple pages on a website. For example, if you want to scrape data from a website that has multiple pages, you can use Selenium to navigate between the pages and extract the data from each page.
To navigate between windows using Selenium, you need to use the Selenium WebDriver’s switchToWindow() method. The switchToWindow() method takes two arguments: the name of the window to switch to and the name of the window to switch from. The following code snippet demonstrates how to use the switchToWindow() method:
