One of the first things you should take a look at first when using social media to drive website traffic is the platform you would need to use. Even though the use of social media is very powerful and can attract a ton of people, you don’t want to blindly use a social mediate site that can be deemed as useless later. You want to do you best to ensure you start off with the best Social Media Site.
And example of social media sites that are effective and work differently would be Twitter and Facebook. Facebook is a platform that is easier to build a relationship with people. I thank that Twitter is made for more posts about articles and just small snippets of opinions. The fact that it doesn’t allow you to write so much text limits your ability to express yourself more thoroughly. You also want to make sure that they know what it is that you have to offer. I see many social media sites that do not have a simple statement about what it is that they do or what they are passionate about. If you are not clear on what it is that you are building, how can your audience be clear on it?
Although many people are on social media and they own their own business, they do not know how to use social media for marketing. Simply put, just because you post something about your business on your social media site, it is not me that you are actually marketing your business on your social media site. Think about the people that you will have to attract to your page in order for them to see your marketing messages. It is not logical to think that once you post something on your Facebook wall people will buy. Unless you have a pretty good following with and that particular niche, you will have zero to very few engagement to start with. You want to make sure that you get in front of your audience via strategies like Facebook group marketing and building rapport.

Automated tools can be very helpful but they can also be extremely dangerous for your social media site. You want to make sure you do your research if you choose to use automation in your marketing.
