Adobe Animate is a software application used to create and edit vector graphics and animation for web pages, video games, and television programs. In this article, we will show you how to create an HTML5 banner ad in Adobe Animate.
HTML5 is the latest version of the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). It was released in October 2014 by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). HTML5 is a markup language used for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. It is the fifth and current major version of HTML.
HTML5 introduces new elements, attributes, and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). These new features include support for audio and video playback, offline storage,2-D/3-D graphics, styling with CSS3 (Cascading Style Sheets), device access, profile management, microdata, and drag-and-drop.
Adobe Animate is a vector graphics and animation software application. It is developed by Adobe Systems and released in October 1992. The software allows users to create vector graphics and animations for use on the web, in television programs, video games, and films.
Animate has a Timeline panel that allows you to control the timing of your animation. You can add frames to the Timeline panel and specify when each frame should play. For example, you can add keyframes to specify when an object should move or change appearance.
The software also includes a Motion Editor panel that lets you control the motion of objects in your animation. You can add motion tweens to create smooth transitions between keyframes. You can also use the Motion Editor panel to fine-tune your animations by adjusting properties such as position, rotation, scale, opacity, color, etc.
There are two ways to create HTML5 banner ads in Adobe Animate: using the Standard method or using the Quick method. We will show you both methods below.
Standard Method
1) Open Adobe Animate and create a new file (File > New > File).
2) Select the Size tab and set the width and height of your file according to the size of your ad unit (e.g., 300×250 pixels). Click OK when finished.
3) In the Tools panel (on the left), select the Rectangle tool .
4) Draw a rectangle on your stage . The fill color of your rectangle will be determined by your selected “stroke” color in the Tools panel . In this example , we’ve chosen black .
5) With your rectangle selected , open the Properties inspector (Window > Properties) . In the “advanced” section , select “ CSS ” from the “ type ” dropdown menu . This will allow you to style your element with CSS code .
