Working from home is a highly alluring prospect that many of us greatly wish we did. The idea of getting up at any time during the day and fitting work around what we want to do rather than the other way around is understandably highly desirable. Fortunately thanks to the success of the internet it is now possible to do just that and there are now many ways to make money online from the comfort of the living room (or bedroom… you choose the room really…). Here are just a couple:
Make money online writing: This is a great way to earn money from home – simply by selling your writing to owners of websites. One way to do this is to advertise on a webmasters’ forum such as ‘Digital Point’ or ‘Wicked Fire’. Another is to approach the owners of sites you like the look of via e-mail and offer to work for them for a set fee.
Make cash from a website: Of course better is to make money from your own website. Here you just need to create a site – which you can do very easily if you use something like WordPress. Then simply go ahead and start putting adverts on it using AdSense or looking for ‘affiliate’ products to sell (just search in Google for the relevant products).
Earn money from eBay: Almost anything can be sold on eBay meaning you are guaranteed to have something in a drawer or cupboard that you can shift for some money. At the same you can make a business out of it if you find a way to get the items more cheaply – simply buy them wholesale, make them yourself or find a cheap outlet.
