Then, we’ll move on to creating an animated ad. And finally, we’ll create a more complex ad with clickable elements. So let’s get started!

Creating a Static Banner Ad

The first type of HTML5 banner ad that we’re going to create is a static ad. Static banner ads are the simplest kind of banner ad that you can create. They don’t involve any animation or interactivity; they’re just simple images that you display on your website or blog.

To create a static banner ad in Adobe Animate, start by creating a new file. For this project, we’re going to use the following settings:

Stage size: 300x250px

Frame rate: 30fps

Background color: white

Once you have your file created, go ahead and add some images or text to your stage. For this example, we’re just going to add a couple of images. You can add as many or as few images as you want; it’s up to you. Just make sure that your stage is big enough to accommodate all of the elements that you want to include in your banner ad.

Once you have all of the elements that you want to include in your static banner ad added to the stage, it’s time to export your file as an HTML5 document. To do this, go to File > Export > Export Movie and choose the format that you want to export your file as. For this project, we’re going to choose the WebM video format since it’s small and lightweight but still supports transparency (which is important forbanner ads).
