It’s amazing I know, you find a great company you believe in and feel completely juiced about it and for some unknown reason it just doesn’t work the way you though. Heck, I was so close I personally almost had to go back to work! Ha! I know that some of you had to, but that’s ok, I’m confident we can change that.
Let’s just say you’re one of the lucky few that are making a little money here and there with what you’re doing. Certainly, it’s not the money you started out to make that’s for sure.
After being in this business for over 3 years I know that only a few small percentages actually make it.
I know this because I’ve been there, thinking to myself what the heck is wrong here? OR even worst, is there something wrong with me? I even fell for the great misconception about persistence… sure persistence is great if what you’re doing is working; often to many people think it means even if you aren’t doing great keep going it’s going to get better or you lose everything whichever comes first.
Take my advice? Don’t think about it anymore. Who cares what you’re doing or not doing and why it’s not working, you might not find the answer right now especially being knee deep in the muck…
If you do decide to put some thought into things as I did you might realizing like I did that I was in a better position before I started all this so I decided to cut my losses and stopped believing in something that wasn’t working (no matter how good I thought it was) it just wasn’t working or worth it. You and I both came here to live a sweet life. So what happened?
The answer is a lot simpler then I thought and you might agree or disagree but I’m living proof that passion is a lot easier when something works. You know being in this type of industry you meet some great people, and it’s heart breaking to see someone fail, especially people I connect with on a much higher level, meaning life long friends. If I can share this with them I certainly can share it with others.
One thing that stands out for me the most that was different then anything I’ve ever done was talking to people that just didn’t know what they really wanted in their life. They didn’t have the passion or drive to make the changes never mind see the opportunity right in front of them. This affected my business and my mental picture of my success many times. Since I’m a business man I adapted as I always do, and changed my approach. I realize now as you might soon or possible do already, that Systems Work, People Fail… It’s just that simple!
Imagine a system that sorts for you without you ever making a phone call to another unsure prospect again? I know I know your jumping up and down in your seat, at least I hope you are because I was and still am.
