Well… I just completed a 30 day challenge to find out.
So I documented the entire process of starting over from scratch and building a new freelance copywriting business.
I compared the two most popular methods of getting clients:
1. Cold Email.
And….
2. Upwork.
My goal was eliminate the confusion around what it takes to get started and give you a clear path toward building the writing business you want.
Not by talking about it in theory.
But by actually doing it and sharing everything I learn in the process.

Like any good challenge, there were some rules.
So here’s how it worked…
From March 15 through April 16, I “started from scratch.” Meaning I didn’t use any of my existing clients, contacts, or previous work samples to get deals.
Because let’s be real: most new copywriters do not have these advantages.
So in this challenge, I didn’t either.
And we’ll find out what happens together.
Where will I get clients faster?
Which clients will I most enjoy?
And, most importantly to a lot of you, how much money will I make?
