Installing WordPress
There are two ways to install WordPress. The first way is to install WordPress on your own web server, and the second way is to install WordPress using a web hosting service.
If you want to install WordPress on your own web server, you will need to have a domain name and web hosting. Once you have these, you can download the WordPress software and install it on your server.

Once you have chosen a provider, sign up for an account and follow their instructions for installing WordPress. This process is usually very simple and only takes a few minutes.
Configuring Your Settings
After installing WordPress, the next thing you need to do is configure your settings. To do this, log in to your WordPress dashboard and click on the “Settings” link in the left-hand sidebar.
You will then be taken to the General Settings page where you can fill in your site’s title, description, and other information. Be sure to scroll down and click the “Save Changes” button when you are finished making changes.
Next, click on the “Reading” link in the Settings menu. On this page, you can configure how your blog posts will be displayed on your home page as well as how many posts per page should be displayed. When you are finished making changes, be sure to scroll down and click the “Save Changes” button again.
The next settings page is the “Writing” settings page. Here you can configure how WordPress handles different types of content such as posts, pages, and links. When you are finished making changes on this page, be sure to scroll down and click the “Save Changes” button once again.
The last settings page we will look at is the “Discussion” settings page. This page allows you to control how comments are handled on your blog posts as well as whether or not comments need to be approved before they are visible on your site.
