If you’ve been looking for ways to make money online, you’ve probably come across a lot of “opportunities” that sound too good to be true. You may have even seen some of those sites that promise to pay you $10.00 per comment on LinkedIn.
At first glance, it may sound like a great way to make some easy money. After all, what could be easier than posting a few comments on LinkedIn? And if you could really make $875 per day doing this, it would certainly be worth your while!
Unfortunately, the reality is not quite so rosy. In fact, the whole concept behind these sites is nothing more than a scam. Here’s why you should avoid them…
First of all, let’s take a look at how these sites claim to pay you $10.00 per comment on LinkedIn. They typically say something like this:
“We will pay you $10.00 for each comment that you post on LinkedIn. Just sign up for our program and start posting comments today!”
Sounds pretty simple, right? And if it were really true, it would be an amazing opportunity to make some quick and easy money.
Sadly, though, it’s not true. These sites are not actually paying anyone $10.00 per comment on LinkedIn. They’re simply using that as a come-on to get people to sign up for their program.
So what happens when you sign up for one of these programs? Well, they’ll give you access to a list of LinkedIn groups where you’re supposed to post comments. They’ll also give you a list of topics to discuss in your comments.
And that’s pretty much it… there’s no guidance or support beyond that. You’re simply left on your own to try to figure out how to post comments that will actually get people’s attention and generate conversation. Good luck with that!
But even if you do manage to post some comments that get noticed, there’s no guarantee that anyone will actually click on your links or take any action that will generate income for you. In other words, even if you do everything right, you still might not make any money at all from this “opportunity.”
And then there’s the fact that most of these “programs” are nothing more than affiliate marketing scams. They make their money by getting people to sign up for affiliate programs like Clickbank and Commission Junction – not by actually paying anyone any money.
