Are you one of those people who feels like they can never keep up with their content? Maybe you start off strong, posting frequently for a few weeks or even months, but then suddenly you’re hit with a case of “writer’s block” and your output drops off dramatically. Sound familiar?
If so, you’re not alone. In fact, this is a pretty common issue that a lot of content creators face. But the good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way.
With a little bit of planning and organisation, you can easily generate 6 months’ worth of content in just 3 days. Here’s how:
Pick a Topic
The first step is to pick a topic that you want to write about. This can be anything that you think would be interesting and valuable to your target audience. Once you have a topic in mind, break it down into smaller sub-topics. For example, if your topic is “content marketing”, some sub-topics could be “types of content”, “content promotion strategies” or “measuring success with content marketing&rdot; Choose whichever sub-topic seems the most interesting to you and start brainstorming ideas for articles.
Create an Outline
Once you have an idea of what you want to write about, it’s time to create an outline for your article. This doesn’t need to be anything too formal or detailed – just a basic structure that will help keep your thoughts organised as you write. Something like this should do the trick:
Introduction: Introduce the topic and explain why it’s important/relevant
Main Body: Go into more detail on the sub-topics chosen earlier
Conclusion: Summarise the main points and offer some final thoughts on the topic
If you find it helpful, feel free to add in additional sections or headings as needed. The most important thing is that your outline gives you a clear idea of what needs to be included in the article so that you can stay on track as you write.
