Full Sail University is a legitimate educational institute and they presently have 17 different degree programs. When researching the information, their site, offers phone contacts, live chat, etc so I chose live chat at first. However I learned that the live chat was only for general questions and I wanted more specific answers so I was directed toward the website. They also have a phone number if you wish to speak to a live call rep but I did not call. Since this review is about the schools online division, I decided to pursue the information on their website as opposed to making a telephone call.
So I looked over the website for information about the internet marketing degree. Even though the chat had ended, I still wondered how much is this going to cost me, what if I had more questions, and how is the course material structured? What I found out is that the average semester is priced at $8,960, with 6.25 semesters mandated for completion of the bachelor of science program in internet marketing. When I total up those figures I get nearly $60,000. That is the price for the online program to learn internet marketing via pre-recorded videos. In addition, a 1 hour weekly webinar chat is included.
After searching through the website I learned that the online bachelor degree program includes 24 courses and each one of those, individually, can be completed in 4 weeks. So roughly speaking that is 2 years to complete the entire program. However, if you wanted to go on to the masters of science degree in internet marketing you would be looking at an additional year as well as an additional cost of another $31,000.
So it really does look like you can learn internet marketing from Full Sail University and graduate with a master of science degree in only 3 years, and the cost should be somewhere near $90,000. There are of course alternatives to Full Sail University, and they all come with a cost, and all require study and pursuit of excellence. Some of those alternatives like Immacc, or the Internet Marketing Mentoring and Coaching Center, come at a price of around $2000, while some like the University of San Fran online are at $20,000. Education is always expensive: most of the time that cost is not only in dollars but in the amount of work and dedication the student must apply. When searching for your specific career curriculum, you must weigh pros and cons of the amount of education vs. the amount of money required to receive that education, as well as the length of time it will take you to pay off that education.
