The first step is to find a popular forum in your niche. This can be any kind of forum, really… an online community, a message board, etc. Just make sure that it’s relevant to your niche and that there are active members on there.
Step #2 – Create a helpful, informative post on the forum
Once you’ve found a suitable forum, the next step is to create a helpful, informative post on there. This post should be genuinely helpful and add value to the members of the forum. It shouldn’t be a sales pitch or anything like that… just something genuinely useful.
If you do this right, people will start to take notice of you and appreciate your contributions.
Step #3 – Add a link to your website/URL in your signature
Once you’ve established yourself as a helpful member of the community, the next step is to add a link to your website or URL in your signature. This way, every time you make a post on the forum, people will see your link and they may click on it out of curiosity.
