When they approach the store their request is turned down and they are required to go back to Craigslist for store credits.
Online classifieds are full of such gift card sellers who are offering their unused cards at discounted rates. It makes sense for you to check out the value of the gift-card before making payment. You don’t want to end up buying a card that is valued at $50 but which will be valued much less say $10. You end up losing $40. This is truly a cheat.
