I used to think that there was something magical and mystical about creating copy.
As if those good copywriters were using special words, or doing something so profound that it would be impossible for me to mimic.
Now I realise that it’s not so much the words that they are using, but how they are using them that counts. And that the goal of the words is to take your potential customer on a journey, from which they may emerge a client.
My writing fiction books put me in good standing for writing copy. You see, a lot of the premises are the same.
Your goal in both is to captivate your audience, to keep them engaged, and to get them to the end of your story/copy without losing them.
