In this episode, we’ll be setting up banner ads in our Flutter app using the AdMob widget from Google.
To get started, we’ll need to create an AdMob account and register our app. Once we have our AdMob ID, we can add the widget to our project.
The AdMob widget requires a few pieces of information in order to function correctly. We’ll need to provide the AdMob ID, the size of the banner, and the orientation.
We can add the AdMob widget to our app in the Widget Tree. To do this, we’ll first need to add the AdMob dependency to our project.
We can then add the AdMob widget to our app. The widget takes up the full width of the screen, so we’ll need to adjust the size of our app accordingly.
We can also specify the orientation of the banner. The default is vertical, but we can also use horizontal if we want.
Now that our banner is set up, we can start adding ads to our app.
