So do you need a degree for Web Development? A lot of people I see asking this question seem to be worried that they won’t get a Junior Developer position without one but the truth is a degree is pretty low down on the list for getting your first development position.
Although a degree may be a prestigious qualification to have, it probably won’t focus on the key skills you need in order to become a skilled Junior Developer.

Although a degree in computer science is beneficial to have it’s not a necessity in today’s developer career path. So all you really need is to love to learn to code and tackle any JavaScript (or other programming language) challenges that you come across.
