Commercial car poster/banner design in Photoshop is an extremely popular way to market a product. When done correctly, a commercial car poster can be very eye-catching and effective in getting the viewer’s attention. In this tutorial, we will be creating a commercial car poster for Jeep using Photoshop.
The first step is to create a new document in Photoshop. The dimensions of the document should be around 3000×2000 pixels. We will be using a landscape orientation for this project.
Next, we will add the background for our poster. For this, we will be using a gradient. Create a new layer and set the foreground color to black. Select the gradient tool and use the following settings:
Next, we will add the Jeep logo. For this, we will be using a vector file. If you don’t have a vector file of the Jeep logo, you can download one from the internet. Once you have the vector file, open it in Photoshop.
Select the Pen Tool and create a path around the Jeep logo. Once you have the path created, right-click on the path and select “Make Selection”.
Once the selection is made, copy and paste the logo into our document. Resize and position the logo as needed.
Next, we will add the text for our poster. For this, we will be using the font “Arial Black”. Create a new layer and type in the text for our poster.
Once the text is added, we will need to add some effects to it. To do this, we will be using the layer style “Inner Shadow”.
Next, we will add the car. For this, we will be using a photo. If you don’t have a photo of a car, you can download one from the internet. Once you have the photo, open it in Photoshop.
Select the Pen Tool and create a path around the car. Once you have the path created, right-click on the path and select “Make Selection”.
Once the selection is made, copy and paste the car into our document. Resize and position the car as needed.
