WordPress is a popular content management system that enables you to create a website or blog from scratch without having to learn coding. Once you have installed WordPress, you can then install plugins to add functionality to your site. One plugin you may want to consider is The Events Calendar, which allows you to add an events calendar to your WordPress site.
There are two ways to add an events calendar to your WordPress site: using a theme that includes an events calendar template, or using a plugin like The Events Calendar. If you choose to use a theme that includes an events calendar template, you can typically find these under the “Events” section of the WordPress themes directory. However, not all themes include an events calendar template, so you may need to use a plugin like The Events Calendar.
Once you have installed The Events Calendar, you will need to activate it. You can do this by going to the Plugins page in the WordPress admin area and clicking on the “Activate” link next to The Events Calendar.
Once activated, The Events Calendar will create a new menu item in the WordPress admin area called “Events.” Click on this link to begin adding events to your calendar.
To add an event, click on the “Add New Event” button. This will bring up a form where you can enter the details of your event, such as the name, date, time, location, and description.
Once you have entered all of the event details, scroll down and click on the “Publish” button to publish your event. Your event will now appear on your WordPress site’s events calendar!
