In Lesson 1, you learned how to choose a web host and build your first website. In this lesson, you’ll learn about the anatomy of an HTML page and how to create your own web content.

An HTML page is made up of three main parts: the head, the body, and the footer. The head contains information about the page, such as the title and the author. The body contains the actual content of the page. The footer contains information about the page, such as the date it was created and the last modified date.

The head of an HTML page is marked by the tag. The body of an HTML page is marked by the tag. The footer of an HTML page is marked by the

tag.
