I Wanted to share with you a great resource for HTML 5 templates. You may have noticed my new website. This is basically a template I got from HTML5UP, its like a skeleton of a fully functioning website. It is free and I got my content transferred in a few hours.

Wanted to share with you a great resource for HTML 5 templates. You may have noticed my new website. This is basically a template I got from HTML5UP, its like a skeleton of a fully functioning website. It is free and I got my content transferred in a few hours –
I told a friend – thinking of Javier – and he got his site up in a few hours.
Anyway, I recently discovered HTML5 UP while listening to a podcast on Indie Hackers. This is Courtland Allen, Founder creation and he interviews people with successful Saas businesses, And boy, let me tell you. I normally would go to GetBootsrap and download some free basic template and do some heavy customization from there. This is my new favorite way of doing things. For the record, I am not affiliated in a shape or form with HTML5 UP nor do I get any kickbacks, neither have I ever spoken to the creator.

What I did get out of it was a great looking template that suited my needs – so I am paying it back and sharing a really cool resource.
BTW scroll down as there’s a bunch of them and some have menus, some have email boxes, etc. They have CSS, everything has clear comments, etc. If you want to learn more about the author listen to podcast #87 on Indie Hacker. He has other SaaS businesses but this one is all free and he only monetize if you don’t want to credit HTML5 at the end of the page.
That’s it. I still like GetBoostrap, but I would say use this if you want something straightforward and don’t have much time.
