In this throwback I breakdown a lead in the Financial Publishing space. IPOs were hot at this time, and this made some copywriter a lot of money.
I wanted to show in this demonstration that you must use emotional language EVERYWHERE in your copy. Specifically, New, Easy, Safe, and Big.
In the lead, pay attention to how much emphasis the copywriter put on establishing that this is a breaking, NEW opportunity that is happening right now, and blowing up fast.
Once he establishes that, he shows this is a Safe and Predictable opportunity by showing THREE times it has already delivered the desired result. (explosive stock market gains).
Then he moves right into Easy/Anybody, showing how this is so easy, anybody can get started right away. No matter how fat or thin your checkbook.
