In this tutorial I show how I do keyword research for my books on Amazon and the Kindle. I go through choosing the categories and through the Google Keyword tool to find the right keywords or keywords that my current listing might be missing, and I show how to plug those keywords into the description in order to get my book to rank for more kinds of searches on Amazon. During the tutorial I actually find a number of existing flaws in my own existing keyword research, and eventually correct them. So the example is a very good one because it is based on a very real product.
To sell more paperback books on Amazon.com and digital copies of your books on the Kindle platform, you must do good keyword research, and then add those keywords to your title, book description, and he keywords field designated by Amazon. Additionally, keep in mind that the search in Amazon.com and the Kindle platform will bring up different search results. So your keyword research must be a unique for each platform. There will be a large overlap, but even despite the overlap, you must keep in mind that the Kindle search and Amazon.com search are different from one another.
