Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer, with over 310 million active customer accounts.1 And readers of this blog are well aware that Amazon is a powerful platform for bloggers and online entrepreneurs looking to make money online.
In fact, many of the most successful bloggers in the world are Amazon affiliates.2
Amazon’s affiliate program, called Amazon Associates, is free to join.3 And when you sign up, you can choose to receive payments in either U.S. dollars or in your local currency (if available).4
Joining the Amazon Associates program doesn’t give you automatic access to any special deals or coupons that Amazon offers its customers.5 But it does give you a commission on every product that your referrals purchase from Amazon—including items that are fulfilled by Amazon,6 items sold by third-party sellers on Amazon,7 and digital products (like e-books, music, and video).8
