Hi, My name is Van Clendenin and I have been an affiliate marketer for about 3 years now. The purpose of this article is to help you avoid some of the pit falls, and mistakes that most newbies make when they first start out. If you are one of the many that failed your first attempt, don’t feel alone, I did too. Persistence is the name of the game here. Really look at it this way. You found a sure way that it wont work. Keep a positive attitude and keep the following facts in mind.
1) Do not believe everything you read about working from home. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. There are so many programs out there that claim they can make you a rich success overnight. Don t you believe it. I’ve spent nearly Ten Thousand Dollars on such programs and guess what, None worked.
2)The best thing I ever did is to get a coach, and it would be very smart on your part also. I use Maverick Money Makers. It is not a get rich quick scam like so many others are. It is a full blown, straight to the point, coaching program that really works. No Hype, No Fluff, just straight to the point coaching.
3)Sticktuitiveness. When you start a program, stick with it until you complete it. This is a sure fire way to be successful. Don’t jump from 1 thing to another. Finish one and then start another.
4) Always keep an open mind. People are very different. Something that may not appeal to you, might appeal to others. There are so many ways to make it in affiliate marketing, but it does take WORK. Granted it can be done as fast as the time you are willing to spend. And yes there are a few ways to make money on line with affiliate marketing, that require very little expense. These are called “Bum Marketing”, but usually if there is little or no cost, then there is a lot more work involved.
5) Always remember, the Internet is not a perfect place, things are changing all the time. What works this month may not necessarily work next month.
There is always a way to improve. Keep that in mind and you’ll be pulling in some big cash before you know it.
When you find that first thing that makes you some real money, duplicate it again and again. You will be hooked like me, because then , it all becomes worth while.
