there is nothing spectacular about this camera, except that everything works as far as cameras go. This one is very very clear and functional. I have owned many security cameras in the past, but for the money very good price and I couldn’t expect anything more when I get from this camera the night vision is excellent and daytime, colorful and bright.

These cameras beat all my defender cams for resolution. Also I’ve notice my Defender cameras have an issue if cable is run more than $150′. With these cams I have run them routinely over 300′ with no issues, and in one instance got a cam them out to 450′ and it worked well. Over that and they have issues powering the night vision.
For night vision outdoors be sure to angle them towards to ground, about 25-50 feet out, if you try to aim straight and level at night you will only see darkness unless something moves in front of it within the IR range. I place mine away from the house aiming at the house and the lights from the home make my whole yard and driveway visible.

I purchased this system for my back garage because I didn’t want to run cables underground from the main house to expand my existing Samsung system. At $104 for a four camera system, expandable to 8, you can’t beat the price. The system itself worked as advertise but there are some cons, see below. I am giving it 3* because of the software and tech support.

Pros:
1 Price is Affordable
2 Picture quality is good.
3 Easy to install

Cons:
1 The embedded software is not the best and need some work. I am use to the feature pack software on my other systems so I am somewhat bias.

2. The only PC app that works with this system (AVSS) requires an active internet connect to work. It will not load if you don’t have a internet connect to login to their servers, why? This means you cannot use the software on a stand alone LAN to simply view the live video or playback recordings. This system is located in the back garage so I wanted to connect it to my home network for remote viewing. I have other software that work fine without a internet connect so I am not sure why this one requires one.

3. Tech support is basically nonexistent, I think most of the replies I received were from BOTs.

4. The USB ports are flaky and didn’t work with some of my devices. I had problems with some of my wireless mouse and flash drives. The front port would not recolonize some of my flash drives and would kill the mouse when a flash drive was plugged the rear port. The USB port was stable when only one device was plugged in.

5 . The backup process is slow. I took over 5 min to backup one min of video but this could be a USB port issue.

I’m not so sure if delivers price wise is good

After 2 hours of fiddling with the set.
I like the system but I got into a few problems.
The quality of the cameras feels good.
Good aluminum body.
Quality of the image is good (daylight) unable to check at night yet system is not installed
After first boot up the system works flawlessly after a few min the RGB when south (check pic) HDMI color good
The DVR unit is good but the space to install the HDD is small and I have problems installing it (see pics) the power cord for the HDD is too short.
I have to install in different orientation de HDD the holes in the case don’t match the HDD case so is hold just by 1 screw i can put more but I have to make holes in the case.
One of the wires came defective I have to wiggle to make good connection is not at the metallic connector is at the rubber part that fail .
Software is good a lot of settings I’m a handy guy technically inclined but the software is too much for my brain for now to handle.
Few things I can’t make it work (my fault) I didn’t have the time to connect to the internet yet.
The RC is not good I have to point straight to the box otherwise will not work and the distance maybe 3-5 feet not more.
Another thing catch my attention after 30 min of operation the CPU gets hot 122-123 Fahrenheit degrees (with the box open) I don’t know how long is going to last the unit before conk out.
The aluminum cooler is too small needs a bigger better one the unit is fan less (sorry for the fuzzy pic)
I will update this review as I go deeper into the system keep in touch!!

Ok after 2 days of use unable to get this thing to get connected to the internet for remote view.
Is a royal pain to make it work MANUAL IS POOR AS IS BEST thanks you tube!!!
Another thing one of the cameras is getting a fuzzy pic 3 cams work fine but one already is giving trouble (yes I check the wire)

Ok new update after maybe 2 years?
Ok first things first
I didn’t installed the cameras right away it took at least to setup them about 8 months after I bought them (sorry I’m a lazy fat nurse)
The box is working flawlessly software wise is ok is a learning curve I’m a nurse not a camera guy is a lot of settings I’m still having a low understanding about them but is my fault (I deserve a 1 star for my poor performance).
Cameras they are sturdy and look good 2 already fail I forgot to take a pic from the first one but this one fail 2 days ago see the pic
I paid at that time $165.99 now the price for the same set is $ 90.99
If you get them to work good I think is a good investment they are ok for the price but if the fail like in my case is a bad investment I don’t expect stellar performance for price but I wish they work longer.

Great product and even better customer service! I am very impressed wit the customer service received with this product. I purchased this on August 2017 and installed with no issues. It’s easy to configure and run the wires. After about a month, I heard a buzzing noise from the DVR internal fan and contacted Zosi customer service by email for assistance. Within 24 hours I received a response with clear instructions on replacement, the CS rep then shipped me a replacement DVR unit within 48 hours! I am really impressed with the customer service by ZOSI, and they even extended my initial 1 yr warranty an additional year! This is the FASTEST turnaround of any electronic device I’ve ever owned…
Feel free to buy with confidence here, it’s a good product, as long as you do your research and understand what this device is meant for, then you should have no problems.

At first I was a little skeptical because of the low price.
The system does exactly what I was hoping it would do. Cameras are rock solid with great video recording day or night .
And for the cheap price it doesn’t get any better. This can easily be a DIY project no experience needed to install. ZOSI have the best customer service, they were right there when I needed help with setup. They usually respond in about 4 hrs not days. And
They will patiently walk you through any issues you have.
