I got this endoscope so I can look under the house when our basement door is left open and my Boy Axl bolts into the basement and under the house. It’s happened three times. And it’s a nightmare. Because we don’t really know that he’s under the house. We only know the door’s been left open and we can’t find Axl. And the crawlspace under the house is only suited to raccoons and… well, cats.
The Endoscope comes very nicely packaged in a box with foam cut outs for storing the equipment. The instructions are excellent, and written in excellent English.
Vivohome says the applications of this scope are machinery, plumbing, building inspections and repair, also, outdoor adventure (I’m not sure what that means exactly, but I could see an endoscope being used for spelunking). They also say the battery should be charged every three months or so to prevent irreparable damage caused by battery excessive discharge.
There are 5 keys at the bottom of the screen, plus an LED light and the Power Button. All have dual functions, some have triple functions (short press, long press, etc.) To operate the endoscope, you first insert the TF memory card (which is tiny) with the camera in the Off position. You attach the camera, and then you turn it on —
— And the picture that comes through on the screen is remarkably clear. Really excellent. Please see attached photo.
Next time my Boy Axl thinks he can swoop into the basement, crawl on his belly under the house for hours, and freak me out, I’ll find him with this camera.
But I do wish the cable were longer than 16 ft.
