This is similar in construction/design to all the other good quality binders out there (I own Ultra Pro, Vault X) in the same category, but what I prefer about this one is the space it provides.

A total of 504 slots/pockets is perfect to fit in a master set of cards (of most sets, anyway). I have no problem fitting in my sleeved cards (with Dragon Shield perfect fit sealable – NOT double sleeved). Penny sleeves are a bit harder to fit in since they’re larger, and possible to do so, but I avoid those ever since I found the Dragon Shield ones I mentioned above.

This is perfect to hold card collections. I’ll buy more in the future.

As a complete set collector, I finally caved and used an Amazon gift card to pickup the Top Deck 500+ card binder since it will hold the entire Fusion Strike set (also I like to pair the binder to one of the main colors that make up that set’s logo, crazy I know). Was nervous from reading reviews and from anecdotes, but really didn’t have much else to pick from and it should be noted that I am absolutely a VaultX guy.

Observations:
– the outer material appears to be the exact same as a VaultX and the overall quality feels like it too
– the Top Deck logo is faded
– the VaultX is their pink model, wanted to show the contrast between that and the TD purple
– I plan to complete the set, but this initial testing was done w/ 419 cards, the binder claims to hold 500+
– the binder’s outside dimensions are exactly the same as a 9 card VaultX
– this binder absolutely tents pages
– like that the pages are the same color as the binder
– though it’s upsetting that the pages tent after getting past halfway, the slumping action @ the bottom of the pages I believe will allow for the tented pages to slide back towards the spine a bit and take some pressure off. Where this “slump” occurs I believe should not ruin the inner row of cards, but the obvious design flaw is annoying.
– the left is the TD w/ 419 of 501 cards next to a VaultX that has 360 out of 360. Thickness/height is the same.

Ruling:
This binder appears that it will work as intended/claimed and is on par quality-wise with VaultX. It’s expensive and a simple design change to lengthening the pages a bit to allow the spine to work like it should is aggravating. If you are like me and want your cards in a binder rather than an old ETB, give this a whirl, but know that it is not perfect.

I love this card binder! Holds well with every single available slot used, does not sag, and it is easy to clean. Costs a bit, but it is worth it in my opinion. The zipper option is great, so you can avoid dust getting in, where other binders don’t have this option.
Only pet peeve would be the centre row which seems to be a bit smaller than the top and bottom rows, but this is a very minor thing (you just have to wiggle the cards a bit to get them properly in and centered).

Bought this because I needed to store a specific collection in one binder and this has more than the 360 cards most portfolios offer. Apart from the lack of binder colour options, what annoyed me the most was that the binder itself was unnecessarily tall. my shelves have a nice gap where most of my binders and portfolios (I have a lot) wouldn’t even touch the shelf above it. However this binder will need to be stored horizontally. This is a huge deal breaker as I don’t want to store my binders horizontally as the cards may come lose since it is side loading. Thinking of returning this and just going with lighthouse binder and binder pages.
