How far apart do I hang each rack?
Spacing your Steadyrack depends on whether you want to save floor space or wall space. Choose the setup that’s best for your bikes and storage space.
Save Wall Space – Staggered
Limited wall space? You can stagger the racks to overlap your bikes, with Steadyracks placed as close as 350mm (1ft 2in) apart.
Maximize Floor Space – Level
Maximize your floor space by hanging your racks at a minimum of 600mm (2ft) apart, allowing for the optimum pivot range.
NO LIFT – Simply balance the bike on its rear wheel and push it into the rack – there’s no heavy lifting required.
SAVES SPACE – Unlike bike stands, hooks or pulley systems, our racks have a unique 160-degree pivot feature.
WORKS WITH FENDERS/MUDGUARDS – Our Fender Rack is one of the only bike storage products on the market that can safely store a bike with a fender/mudguard without damaging it. The rack slides between the fender and the tyre, only cradling the tyre.
SPECS: 2.4″ Maximum Tyre Width, 20″ – 29″ Recommended Wheel Diameter (including tyre). We recommend a minimum 2cm or 3/4 inch clearance between the tyre and stays to enable the bike rack to flex and fit between.
