Compatible with Aegis and IronKey keypad drives in the market, SecureUSB KP is thinner and housed in an aluminum enclosure with an aluminum sleeve making it crush-resistant. A built-in battery allows the user to unlock the drive prior to insertion making it easier to use on devices with USB ports not easily accessible, like desktop systems and servers. The keypad is wear-resistant keeping unauthorized persons from seeing commonly used numbers. The flash drive has built-in brute-force anti-hacking technology with key electronic components covered with epoxy making removal of the crypto module impossible. Data on the device in Crypto was shredded after 10 consecutive failed PIN entries. IP57 dust and water-resistant when enclosed in the sleeve keeps the data safe when carried or when liquids are spilled on it. Works on any system that can read/write USB mass storage device and is OS agnostic. The software is free and no drivers are required. For the management of these devices and an extra level of protection, the user can set Admin Mode, allowing the admin 10 additional unlock attempts in the event the user forgets their PIN.
