Usage issues; The mouse wasn’t working well when I had it on my previous mousepad. It had a lot of delay, and sometimes it would just freeze in place. I switched to the mouse pad that I got with it and it worked fine. No idea why that happened.
Mouse size/weight; I have small-feminine hands, thin fingers and palm, and it fits me perfectly. I could fit my index and middle finger on one button easily. So if you have larger hands/wide fingers, it probably won’t be an issue. There doesn’t seem to be much of a difference with the weight when you remove the weights, but it’s a bit heavier than your average computer work mouse. The extra weight I find helps with accuracy for gaming.
Gaming/Settings; It’s fine for gaming, I recommend downloading the mouse configuration tool online so you can change the dpi. I did have a few issues where changing the dpi constantly would “corrupt” data (it would say it’s running at 800 dpi, yet it’s identical to when it was running at 1600 dpi). So if you like to use one dpi setting for everything, set it to that on all 4 dpi settings and change the dpi button to something else, preferably the macro button. I played a lot of Valorant, and it worked fine. It might take a while to find your correct dpi settings though since its dpi feels different (800 feels like it’s closer to like 600 dpi, because my old mouse I used 800 dpi, and this one is easily noticeable to be slower, but it’s not that bad).
Overall, you really get what you pay for. It’s a cheap mouse, it’s made of plastic, but the mouse buttons are textured for a better grip. You can make it lighter by removing the weights, and other than the mousepad issue I had, no other large issues came up, and I’ve been using this mouse for a good few months, and I’ve been using it pretty roughly. Good to say it will last you a good year or two, enough for you to upgrade your mouse down the line. So if you’re new to computer gaming, and you don’t want to fork out $80.00 for a high end mouse, and want to start out cheap, this will be a great investment (I recommend getting it with the mousepad just in case you get the same issue I did. It comes rolled up, but a few nights of leaving it with a hardcover book will smooth it out).
