Okay, some people pointed out the protector does not fill 100% of the screen area. I agree, it does not… and I don’t think it should. If it fit snugly insides the screen frame, it might be impossible to get all of the bubbles out. There is a reason for the 1/16th of an inch all the way around the protector on the main screen, and it’s not difficult to center.
With that said, the protector installs just fine. The tape holder guides work, but they are not super sticky and, thus, can easily pull off the protector. As such, you will need to rely more on manual placement. When applying the protector, begin from the top as you start to lay it down. Once it is initially seated, use an improvised scrapper wrapped in paper towel to squeegee the protector. I dragged vertically down the center first and then horizontally across the center. From there I squeegee over the quadrants always in the direction toward an edge. I got one bubble, and that got easily squeegeed out. Take your time and don’t rush. Be methodical and remember to always press toward and edge.
The conductivity of the protector is superb, and it really is anti-glare as I applied mine with the sun shining through the window. Good product from what I can tell at the start.
