Whether I’m traveling or just going about my busy day, I loathe having to remember multiple charging cords for various devices and portable chargers. Like most other human beings, my brain is stuffed full of the many things I have to remember on a day-to-day basis. Despite my best list-making efforts, it’s a given that I’m going to forget something somewhere along the line…and charging cords tend to top that particular list. Luckily, this all-in-one portable charger has solved that issue for me! Here’s how:
1) This thing is quite literally a grab-and-go product. It has both a Lightning and a USB-C cord attached and tucked away for safety when not in use. That means that no matter where I am, I can use this ONE device to charge my phone, iPad, AirPods, laptop, etc etc etc. —not all at once, mind you, but that’s not what I was trying for anyway. I don’t even have to remember to bring along a cord to recharge the portable charger once it’s depleted, because it has a built-in wall plug! The plug itself also folds down when not in use, snapping securely into slots built into the side of the charger, so it doesn’t add any bulk whatsoever. If you do need to charge additional devices, however, it has two extra ports for USB-A output as well as a USB-C input/output port. You just need to supply your own cords for those.
2) It actually gives a pretty fast charge and lasts for a good while before needing a charge itself. I haven’t timed it, but it tops off my phone in a noticeably shorter amount of time compared to other portable chargers I’ve tried. I also haven’t used it to charge any devices from 0% to 100%, as I use it to keep my battery from getting too low while I’m out and about; but I’ve gotten between three and four solid uses out of it before needing to plug it in again. I’ve also made it a habit to keep it plugged in overnight and grab it on my way out the door the next day.
3) An LED display shows the charger’s battery percentage. I REALLY like this feature. Some portable chargers don’t have any indicator to show how full the battery is, and others just use a series of three or four lights to signify their charge. I have no idea how much battery is left when two lights are illuminated! Does that mean the battery’s 50% full? Less than that? How long until it gives out on me?! Having the actual battery percentage displayed right on the device gives me a better understanding of about how long I have until I need to plug it in again.
If I was pressed to name a complaint, it might be that the “lightweight” part of the description isn’t entirely accurate. I guess that’s kind of subjective, though, because if you’re adding it to an already-full bag, it won’t make much of a difference. But if you’re carrying, say, a belt bag or crossbody purse, you’ll definitely notice the added weight. All in all, I sincerely love this portable charger and recommend it to anyone who’s tired of carrying around multiple cords or chargers. Plus it doesn’t hurt that it comes in different cute colors for customization!
