I was reimbursed for this printer to write a review, since I have other printers by this company.
I received it and have no complaints. The printer works well with the Bluetooth print feature from my phone. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Good quality printing with little to no effort!
I have no working USB ports on my current computer, so I tried to see if I could connect to the printer via Bluetooth from my laptop as well. After trying apps and manually downloading drivers, I was unable to get this function to work. I emailed the support team at the company about it, and we are working through options… I think it might be time to upgrade my 8 year old laptop that’s been limping along for years already. Not the printer’s fault! Customer service has been very helpful and easy to work with!
If anything changes (either in functionality or support), I’ll update this review!

UPDATE: The customer service team created a video for me to walk me through how to setup the printer without USB connection. It was super easy with the video to reference. I am extremely pleased with all of the customer service interactions I have had with Phomemo!!

This is a very handy printer. Since it’s Bluetooth I can have it anywhere I need. The inner label holder can hold a BIG roll of labels but it can also do other things like circles, squares, rectangles… I’m shocked at how many things I can print with this that aren’t just shipping labels!

The machine itself is well put together and set up took me just a couple minutes. The app is fantastic. The only thing I don’t see how to do is QR codes like the smaller D30 can but that’s fine since I can upload my own images anyways!

All and all, a great buy!

I needed to replace my Dymo label printer because it kept failing to connect to my computer. I liked the look of this one especially because it had an internal label storage function. It was easy to set up and it prints incredible fast. The print quality is not quite as good as the Dymo but so far, it hasn’t affected the deliverability of my packages.

Honesty I personally researched wifi printer for printing shipping labels before I purchased this D520. I purchased this product based on the videos. When I received the printer I set it up etc, but the wi-fi is NOT suited to print multiple shipping labels. I have an Amazon & Etsy Sellers account, I am unable to use this printer (without having it plugged in to USB) for individual / mulitple labels without downloading each label. Before giving this review I tried to make sure I was using this printer correct (which I was). I will be returning it because I don’t want to use a USB cord every time I print a shipping label. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel it would have been useful for me to know… I would have purchased a different product in the first place.

So, I literally just got this yesterday. I printed 1 FEXEX label, the. The rest only print a fraction on my label. I tinkered and tinkered with the paper….. and nada. Will follow up and trying a different sticker. Overall…. Not happy. 2 stars for easy setup and fast delivery.

I’m already the owner of a phomemo D30 and a phomemo M221 so when this came out I thought “do I really need it?” Oh man, yes. Unlike previous phomemo label printers this does not require a separate piece to hold and feed your labels. This printer will hold a roll 4×6 address labels. It will also use a stack of 4×6 address labels and it can also use rolls of any other stickers. I bought laser ones specifically for this printer but I also rerolled stickers from both of my other printers and to use for this. Round, square, rectangular, clear, fancy….they all work. I suppose I could sell the other two printers but they each have their own use and place. I wish they all use the same app. That’s a little annoying having different apps and the other apps are much more intuitive than this one. I find the app not as easy to use, not as many pre-made options, and not as many font choices. If they could roll all of the full memo apps into one and have a combination of the pre-made labels and fonts it would be absolutely perfect. Mine you, I bought this mostly for Poshmark shipping labels and that works with ease. Import the off and print. Tada! Done. I should mention I had zero problems connecting it via Bluetooth to my pixel phone to my Amazon fire tablet or to my iPad. I have not tried it connected directly to my computer as it’s the tablets and phones that I use most often. This needs to be plugged into work whereas my other two phomemo printers run off battery or rechargeable battery.

Everything is pretty good with this printer! The pros are that it can handle a large range of label sizes and you can adjust the print saturation etc. It could use more templates to choose from and the ability to have text on a circle from within the Label Life app.

The other somewhat less convenient thing, is that when you change label sizes for the first time, you must do a printer reset to get it to align and print properly. Otherwise, when changing label sizes, turn the machine of first. Then switch everything up and power back on. The last good thing is that I got good and timely customer service during my learning curve of using this one!
