I finally went on my first trip where I used 2 of these cameras as pet cams. I used to use old cellphones before I got these but I thought these cameras could offer easier installation. They do.
The pros are:
– Easy installation and software set up.
– Good price for a bundle of 2.
– Clear wide image and night vision.
– Option of continous recording or even recording.
Cons:
– It only senses and records human motion! Which defeated the purpose for my purchase! It didn’t alert me at all when my cat was moving. I had to go through all of the recording to see what my cat is doing! So if you want a pet cam, I’d recommend to look for something else.

When I got these cameras, I was expecting it to be another case of “good cameras, horrific app design”, which is something I have observed among way too many of these no-name surveillance cameras on Amazon. I am so thankful that these are NOT the case
The cameras are dead simple to set up. Plug them in, position them, and basically follow the loud and clear voice prompts for setting it up throught the app (more on that later). The image quality is pretty good given the size of these things; not the most amazing image quality but pretty decent for the price. I do like how they have IR functionality for nighttime or dark areas, which I honestly did not know they had!
However, the app….the app was a major disrupter! Downloading the app of the Play Store, I was expecting it to be another one of those proprietary apps that they make you download and turn out to be extremely sketchy or just full of security flaws. Instead, I got something that bests even IoT apps from mainstream brands! Booting it up and setting up an account, it asked me to put in a one-time verification code, which already tells me that this app is LEGIT.
Setting up the camera was incredibly simple and cool; you set up the connection using the QR code displayed on your phone and the voice prompts sync perfectly with the setup process! After that, accessing the secure video feeds and the features made it feels a lot more expensive that they actually were! The human body and sound recognition works flawlessly and I like how it takes a photo everytime it detects a sound or human body!
But here’s the best part: it INTEGRATES WITH GOOGLE ASSISTANT! Linking the app to my Google Home and placing the cameras in their “rooms”, I can simply watch a live feed from my TV by saying “Hey Google, show me ________ on my TV”, which is handy if someone’s at the door or if I’m out of the house for a bit.
Overall. These are a 10/10, and an 11/10 in the value department. A lot of these other companies making affordable surveillance cameras should follow suit and step up their game, because the LittleElf is coming for them!

I live on a main road which is some 10m beyond my front door. I have tried numerous external security cameras and video doorbells, all of which were far too sensitive at relentlessly pinging passing traffic. I came across Owltron two-pack indoor cameras which I purchased on the strength of their advertising and other customer reviews. I have set one of the cameras in my lounge on my window ledge facing outward to my drive and the other one in my conservatory also facing outward to my garden (both aspects are partially illuminated). I have set them to record motion/human filter and events only. I have turned off night vision as they emit a light that ‘reflects’ back to the lens when recording. The sensitivity of detection is very good and picks up motion over 10m away and does filter out fluctuations in light caused by passing traffic. I record the images in SD as this is more than adequate providing a very clear image, especially at night, for my purposes. I have tried the full HD and the clarity is picture-perfect. Both of my cameras now act as outdoor security cameras and provide me with a very good level of security at a very reasonable cost. Setting up the cameras was a doddle and I was up and running within 5mins. The app that one downloads to programme the cameras is jammed packed with features that make the use of the system easy to use and maintain. For recording 24/7, the cloud (at various subscription rates) would be the preferred route, as I only record at night time the SD card ( I have installed 128gb) route is more than adequate. The plastic build of the camera/s is tough enough to withstand heavy-handedness and clumsy falls. The wide-angle lens delivers a sharp, crystal-clear image, even in SD mode (and in the dark). Night vision mode (B&W) is as clear as day and even picks out moths in great detail! The camera/s can be mounted upright, upside down, and sideways on using supplied hard or sticky fixings, and can be turned in any desired direction, great for those awkward areas that need to be monitored. Customer service is one of the best customer services that I have dealt with and can be contacted via live messaging from the app. There is no being passed from number to number and advisor to advisor, the process is quick, direct and jolly helpful. In conclusion, I am very happy with my Owltron indoor cameras. Having tried many other cameras, these are by far the best and at such a good price. They are of very good quality, providing a very clear image and, come stacked with operational features that should satisfy most, if not all, security requirements.

Wer kennt es nicht: Haustiere zu Hause, man ist auf der Arbeit und man macht sich dann doch mehr oder weniger Sorgen, weil es dem Liebling morgens nicht so gut ging.
Um dem aus dem Weg zu gehen, habe ich nach einer kleinen Innenkamera geschaut und bin auf dieses Set gestoßen und ich hoffe, es ist genau das, was ich benötige.
Einmal meine Rezension zur Übersicht:

🔹 Der Produkttest: 🔹
Das Set wurde sehr schnell geliefert.
Schlicht, kompakt, einfach und trotzdem ansprechend.
Das waren meine Gedanken, als ich die Kameras das erste Mal gesehen habe.
Trotz des niedrigen Preises darf man hier also einiges erwarten.
Die Kameras sind handlich und klein. Sie sind schon auf dem Ständer vorinstalliert und stehen auf einer kleinen Plattform. Der Steg der Kameras ist 130° rotierend, was in diesem Fall auch vollkommen ausreichend ist.
Deswegen habe ich mich auch fürs Aufstellen entschieden. Beim Anbringen mit Schrauben fehlt mir einfach die Rotationsfreiheit. Wobei die Kameras einen wahnsinnig großen Weitwinkel, von 130°, haben.
Die Kameras sind laut der Produktabmessung, mit 10 x 8 x 8 cm; 230 Gramm nicht gerade große Gerätschaften, welche man mühevoll mehr oder weniger von Ort zu Ort hieven muss, sondern gemächlich auch umstellen kann, wenn z. B. die Kinder oder das Haustier plötzlich woanders beobachtet werden müssen.
Rechts am Korpus ist ein kleines Fach, wo man eine SD-Karte, für Aufnahmen, einschieben kann. Diese wird bis 128 GB unterstützt.
Das Unterteil vom Ständer macht einen etwas billigeren Eindruck, aber er ist absolut ausreichend und die Kameras stehen darauf auch sehr stabil. Dadurch, dass aber auch Klebepads dabei sind, kann man sie, wenn man möchte, noch zusätzlich fixieren.
Für die, die diese App schon haben, geht es weiter mit der Installation und dem Gerät hinzufügen.
Die Installation in der App gestaltet sich dann sehr einfach. Nur den Anweisungen am Handy folgen und in Kürze ist die Kamera aktiv.
Die Bildqualität ist wirklich, für dieses kleine Ding, extrem gut, wenn nicht sogar für diesen Preis, absolut überragend.
Auf jeden Fall überdurchschnittlich für so einen kleinen Preis. Die Übertragung von Foto und Video kommt in HD und ist absolut gestochen scharf. Mit ihr lassen sich problemlos Aufnahmen speichern.
Mehrere Meldungen (Nachtsicht, Schlafmodus, 2 Wege Kommunikation, Bewegungserkennung) können bequem abgefragt werden. Voraussetzung hierfür jedoch ist, dass man diese Dinge vorher alle eingestellt hat.
Die Kamera verfügt über einen Kartenslot und unterstützt Speicherkarten mit bis zu 128 GB. Wenn die Speicherkarte voll ist, überschreiben die neuesten Videos automatisch die ältesten.
Auch die 2 Wege Kommunikation ist super, denn so kann ich bisweilen, mit meinen Vierbeinern, auch von der Arbeit aus, einen kleinen Smalltalk führen.
Die Verbindungen sind immer stabil und auch gleich aktiv, sobald ich in der App, die Kamera aufrufe. Die Kameras werden nicht heiß, sind aber immer gut handwarm.
Selbst wenn ich die Kameras im Schlafmodus habe, verspüre ich da keine Verbesserung.. Die Kamera bleibt stets gleichmäßig handwarm (egal ob aktiv oder Schlafmodus) und auch die Nachtinfrarotlichter bleiben trotz Stand-by aktiv.
Einzig in der App steht, dass die Kamera nicht verbunden ist und durch ein erneutes Anklicken aktiviert werden soll. Stand-by sollte Stand-by sein.
Da bin ich irgendwie noch nicht richtig dahinter gestiegen. Aber so habe ich immer das Gefühl, sie sind permanent an.
Grundlegend bei diesen Kameras ist aber eine Dauerverbindung zum Strom und zum Internet.
⭐ Das Fazit: ⭐
Bei einem Preis von derzeit 50,99 € ist das, für 2 HD Kameras mit allem Zubehör ein richtiges Schnäppchen.
Die Qualität von Bild, Ton und Video ist hervorragend. Die Verbindungen sind stabil und ich kann für Aufnahmen eine SD-Karte einsetzen.
Da ich persönlich, sehr zufrieden bin, gibt es von mir auch für dieses Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gute ⭐⭐️⭐⭐⭐.
Wegen des Stand-bys einen Stern abzuziehen, wäre für mich persönlich, Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.
Wer einen schmalen Geldbeutel hat, ist hier wirklich ausgezeichnet ausgestattet. Und das gleich im Doppelpack. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Easy to set up, works great connection is good so far. Night vision mode has high camera quality unfortunately makes my cat look a bit demonic but otherwise great quality. Motion detection works great and audio comes through great on the mic. Would definitely recommend
