This device is the most robust drive I have ever had. The case is a sturdy metal construction. The drive is formatted in FAT32 and was immediately recognized when I inserted it into a Windows 7 computer. No issues with this device; I am very satisfied with this item.

This is a great product. Very solid flash drive with some weight to it. Awesome data transfer speed and I had no issues connecting to my desktop or devices. This is the best flash drive i purchased.

This flash drive is listed as “ORICO USB 3.0 Flash Drive 64GB, Memory Stick 64GB 100 MB/s Reading Thumb Drive with Keychain.” I didn’t realize it when I ordered it that I was getting a USB-C drive. Looking at the pictures on the Amazon site I see that some are the traditional USB interface and some are the USB-C interface. So be sure to choose which you prefer. Not all desktop and laptop computers come with USB-C ports. The length is 2 3/4 inches. There was also no keychain or lanyard included.
Read and write speeds are shown on the Amazon page as read speeds of 100 MB/sec and write speeds of 50 MB/sec. I was using a 1 GB video file for testing the Orico flash drive. I got read speeds of about 54 MB/sec and write speeds of about 20 MB/second, which is considerably slower than what Orico cited. I got nearly the same speeds when using the SSD solid state drive on my computer as I got for the traditional Western Digital Black drive on my computer. For comparison purposes I ran the same test using a 64 GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-1 memory card which indicates it can have read speeds of up to 120 MB/sec. My SanDisk test showed read speeds of 165 MB/sec and write speeds of 45 MB/second–which was 2 or 3 times the speed of the Orico in this test. So if you have a memory card reader the SanDisk may offer you faster speeds for a lower purchase price.
