I reviewed this 5 stars because I feel like anything less than 5 stars people think is not good. I bought this modem as a backup to my house internet. My switch has multiple internet in ports, and sometimes my fiber goes out, so I got a Data SIM from my wireless carrier, popped it in this, et my Mesh WiFi system be in charge of DHCP, and we’re off to the races. Now if my fiber goes out my home WiFi fails over to LTE, which is great. The only downside is that when the fiber comes back the devices on my WiFi still use LTE until a DHCP refresh – no big. It’s been great for working at home. I still haven’t taken it out, say, to the lake to provide internet for the kids when the sun gets too much so no comment on using it as a mobile hotspot. For my purpose, it’s been great, got it set up in an hour or so. Again, my mind isn’t blown, but it’s everything I expect for the price.
