It gets the job done for my casual hobby. Pictures came out as I expected with the 10 stop light reduction.
Just I am not sure how to use the carrying case that comes with it. Seems it’s more for storage but not for in the field use. I need to add my own protection for the filter with the holder attached. I think no one want to do the assembly in the field every time. The 82mm adapter rings is a little bit flimsy and not very easy to put on to the lens, especially during the not so friendly weathers. But for the price and my not so often outing, it’s still a good buy.

This kit has exceeded my expectations! Considering the price difference between this kit and a similar kit from a “top-shelf” brand, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and noticed how well it is actually built.
TL;DR: An excellent value; if you were thinking of getting a square filter kit, get this, and put the $300 you saved towards a better lens (or whatever else you really need to get that shot). One thing to note, you can’t use lens caps (if that’s important to you).
What you get in the box is a kit of hard anodized aluminum construction with grade 12.9 countersunk steel bolts, and misc plastic bushings and rubber foam components where appropriate. These appear to be cast (not CNC machined) which may explain some of the price difference [compared to a top-shelf kit]… the castings are very high quality and the average user would probably not be able to tell the difference. Build quality is very good.
Separate carrying cases are included for the filter holder/adapters and the actual glass filter itself.
Filters are friction-fit, and the housing can hold up to two filters at a time. Everything fits well and I was not able to detect any light-leakage.
No complaints about the included 10 stop ND filter. I can not see any noticeable color cast, ghosting, haze or chromatic aberration, nor can I find any degradation in sharpness. I do not have access to lab equipment that can test this filter in a quantifiable manner, but hey, if my eyes can’t see anything wrong after a dozen outings over 3 weeks of use, then I’m happy.
The only thing I was a bit disappointed about was the lack of provisions for the use of lens caps. You cannot use the lens cap that came with your lens once you thread the filter adapter, and no alternate is included with the kit. Not a big deal, but in some situations it would be nice to be able to remove the business end and put a cap on your lens.
Overall, I am impressed. This is an exceptional value and I think anybody looking for this sort of kit will be pleased at the build quality and performance that this kit offers. Highly recommended!

I grew up in the latter 1970s, reading the photo magazines and drooling at all of the filters that helped photographers create the wonderful images reprinted in the magazines. But being a teen, I never had enough money to buy filters and film. That was before photoshop and all the amazing things you could do to your photos after they were taken.
I love my digital SLR and Photoshop but I still wonder what I could do now if….
I guess I don’t have to do as much wondering now. This company (and others) manufacture a whole lot of filters for digital cameras. And this really caught my eye. An adaptor for the large format filters. So I ordered it to prepare for using the huge set of filters marketed by the same company.
Of the adaptor rings, I’ll only need the one 52mm for my camera but it’s good to know that when (not if) I pick up another camera, I’ll likely have the adaptor to use the filter holder on that also.
This itself isn’t an inexpensive investment. But the filter holder feels quite well built and it will be the base for every filter I use. It came with two cases: one for the holder and adaptor rings and one for the neutral density filter that came with it. Super protection against accidental breakage.
The adaptor plates fit well into the holder and no light slips through (important!)
I will only carry the one adaptor ring I need which makes room in the case for additional filters I acquire.
I am looking forward to all of the photographic experiments I can now try. The big advantage over shooting film in the 1970s? I can know how my picture will turn out before I leave the shoot!

各種アダプターリングをレンズに装着すればホルダーを締めるだけで簡単に装着できました。
フィルタのみの物より少しかさばりますが、これ1つでだいたいのレンズに対応できるので嬉しいです。
ネジの精度も良く、気持ちよく嵌まりました。
付属のポーチもポケットが分かれているので、良く使うサイズなど仕分けておけて便利です。
最初の一歩にお勧めのセット

レンズフィルター用のネジに噛ませる円形のアダプターが各種ついており
それにフィルターケージ挟み込んで使うタイプなのですが、装着きましたよ。
ありえないくらい前玉のでかいソニーのテレコンに・・・
絶対に推奨されない使い方でしょうが、ポンコツ延命確定で涙出そうです。
とってもステキなキットです。やる気とともに感激で胸いっぱい♪
