What type of hats can I hang?
Our hat hook holds any hat with a button or strap such as baseball caps, snapbacks, and fitted hats.
How do I use the product?
Install with adhesive or screws.Ensure the hook is the right side up – check the included card for reference.For the adhesive, wipe off any dust on the wall for a clean surface. Stick the hook on the wall and press firmly for 30 seconds. For best results, let the hook sit on the wall for 24 hours prior to use.
Which surfaces are suitable for the adhesive?
We use a strong adhesive to ensure your hooks stay mounted over time.Please use on surfaces that do not tear. Do not use on old paint, wallpaper and rough surfaces.Suitable surfaces include finished wood, tile, plastic, metal, glass, and marble.Use carefully on drywall and painted walls.
How do I remove the hook?
It’s important to peel very slowly. It should take at least 1 min to peel off the hook. We recommend first heating the hook/adhesive with a hairdryer. Then use a sharp object to poke the adhesive while peeling slowly from the top. It may take a few cycles of heating and peeling to fully remove the hook safely. The adhesive is not designed or intended to be reused. It will lose its strength on subsequent use.
Does it work well with fitted hats?
Yes, it works with fitted hats. Please use the button to hang the hat facing forward as there is no strap to hang on the hook.
Will it damage my wall?
Since we use a strong adhesive to ensure your hooks stay mounted over time, there is some risk of damage to the wall depending on the surface. Do not use on wallpaper and use carefully on drywall and painted walls. Other suitable surfaces include finished wood, tile, acrylic, metal, glass, and marble.
