Decent little starter lighting set up overall

While these are definitely on the cheaper side they arent bad. I mainly took off stars due to the fact that one light was missing the sheet to diffuse the light so I had to make my own for it. Not a terrible starter set as long as all parts are there.

I am in the middle of a project for my near future and was looking for lighting gadgets for photography . Mainly food related pics .
I saw these on Amazon and wanted to give it a try . Boy , I’m glad I did .
The quality of the material is great . Very sturdy . There are some plastic pieces yes , but I don’t think I will break them easily with utmost care .
Two light source comes with the package . They have the easy , put on and off like diffuser caps .
The set also comes matching phone stand/ tripod , which is very useful . Use them together or separate . I took a lot of food and now our Christmas pics .
It has three different light settings . 1 bright , another more brighter like day light and 1 soft light . ( you can tell this review is not coming from a professional, but I am learning more and more … )
One thing I must add , when you first open up the package and try to assemble it , it’s a bit hard to give the perfect square shape . There are a lot of jiggle involved . But the zipper idea is absolutely great .
So far I am absolutely happy with it . I know that I am gonna order more from this company for my lighting needs for my new photography hobby . Was a great choice !
I highly recommend it .

I have an estate sale business. I take a lot of pictures of the items for sale and lighting is everything when it comes to professional looking photos. I have tried a lot of portable lighting and this is one of my favorites. These were easy to set up and take down. The brightness is on point. I personally prefer the cool setting for my photos since warm can alter the color of items. This is a true cool white. The area these cover is way better than my spotlight style lights. Biggest plus is I can slip these in with my portable photo booth without a lot of extra bulk. Compact for full light photography effect

I have a 16×16 inch lightbox that I love, but unfortunately, not everything fits into the lightbox, and setting up full-size lightbox is a pain with no storage space.

This set of 8-inch softboxes is a lifesaver in that regards since I don’t always catch the natural sunlight. This is easily set up and very compact, exactly for tabletop photography, but I actually like to photograph on the ground. It has 3 light settings, and the tripod is more compact than my normal photography tripod, and so much easier to carry around.

The light came well packaged, It is very easy to set up. I really didn’t need to read the instructions, and had it done in less than five minutes. The tripod is sturdy and don’t fall over easy. The light kit came with everything I needed to get started, including the bulbs. However, there is a minor issue. The cover doesn’t fit well, and does come off too easily. The two light colors are warm and harsh white, which are easy to switch between the two. So far they have been convenient and easy to travel with. I think it is a four and a half stars, but Amazon does not allow half of a star increment.

Great studio lighting for indoor personal videos or photos. Set up is relatively easy – untide, turn the arm to the right position, zip it up and you are done. One tip, don’t be afraid to adjust the arm position. They are pretty tough and can handle some stress.

Note that these lights are for table top so don’t expect they extend much. If you want the lights while you are standing, you will need to get a chair or stand or something to get the light higher for better experience.

When use as table lights, they are perfect. The lights gave out great coverage and make the video experience better and no need to worry about having shadows.

I espeically love the portability as they are light and easy to carry around. I do wish it comes with carrying bags but can live without.
