Tighten or remove the 5/16″ fitting. Pull the rod to its full length. Connect the rod to the AC port. Push the rod into the port. Turn the end knob counterclockwise until the damaged core is loose. Pull the rod back to its full length. Turn the lever to close the tool’s internal ball valve. Loosen the tool’s lock and disconnect the rod from the tool. Remove the damaged core from the rod.
