I wanted to get my generator further away from the house so that we don’t have to listen to the noise of it and for in the winter time. With a longer cord I don’t have to dig a long path to get the generator up close to the house. Now I can leave it very close to my shed where the generator is stored. I can clear the deck of the shed, pull out the generator, hook it up and it is ready to go.

The quality of the cord seem very good. It is heavy cord, so I am assuming that the cable and the outer shell is qood quality material. I guess only time will tell how well it stand up to the weather.
