Took me by surprise with the fast delivery! here’s the deal: this GoVision eye glasses does the job regarding video quality and still photos. keep in mind that for a small portable camera it can’t do what any other smart device such as a smart phone can do. but overall it still has great quality. feels comfortable to wear and the uv coated lense is a big plus. HOWEVER my complaint is that i wish the lense had a more curved and wider design like a wrap around style because sunlight does penetrate from the top eye brow area and from the left and right corners. video recording and picture taking are without faults, the end results after viewing are amazing! here is another HOWEVER: the indicating vibration that let’s you know when you take a picture or when you stop recording can be heard in the recorded video. no big deal because you can edit that sound out. there is no date and time stamp but you can download the INIT txt file from a help site. google search “setting the date and time on govision camera eyeglasses” and follow the instructions from the web site for Windows and Mac. lastly, product came securely and nicely packaged. GoVision has many styles for personal selection and or use, my selection is the ROYAL style. i would care to mention that this particular style has a built in 16g storage capacity and NO MICRO SD slot for expansion. No big deal because you can always transfer to your computer using the usb cable. i plan to get another pair.. just because.. i hope this review helps.. and yes the eyeglasses are made in China.

Fine for video. Advertised spec for 8 MP still camera is FALSE – it is 2 MP.

This is a good-looking unit and the videos it takes are just fine. One issue however, is that the advertised still photo resolution of 8 MP is FALSE. With just one button for operation, you start the video recording, and then when you want to take a still photo you press the button briefly while the video is recording. The videos go to one folder (MOVIE) and the still photos to another (PHOTO). The still photos however are stored at the same resolution as the video — 1920×1080 — which is 2 MP, not 8 MP. With resolution like that, why have a still photo capture feature at all? Just extract frames from the video feed.
I am satisfied with these for video capture but grossly discouraged about the false, advertised spec for still photos.
