GOOD VALUE…A RESOUNDING YES FOR AN ASTOUNDING VIEW

When I set out to review a scope or a set or binocular, I am always prepared for dissapointing or only average performance. Not terrible performance but always the feeling even though an item lacks a few points it is still an excellent value based on the price.\
This Gosky 10X42 binocular costs thirty to forty dollars more than other specimens that I have tested and rated as a good value so, there was a great need for this binocular to prove itself as something very special.
I began my testing in the usual manner by first attaching the binoculars to a stable tripod with a video head. The view was out my apartment window at static objects that will be my criteria for all items that I test. I slid my living room office chair to a position in front of the binoculars and adjusted the height for eye level picked my first test target, adjusted the main focus or focal length, tweaked the diopter went back to the main focus, and tweaked the diopter once more. Then a fine tuning of the focus on my test object. My heart began to pound because I was seeing detail more clearly than ever before. Other excellent binocular that I tested could hint at it but the Gosky left no doubt about what I was seeing the extremely bright yet well contrasted image in the field of view. My test object is a church steeple that is about two miles distant from my apartment window. There is a tiny window in that Steeple at about three qsuarters of the way up. It is just below the final ascending spire with customary cross. I was totally amazed at the definition and visability of each. The best part of all, there were no chromatic distortions or aberrations. None.
The color capture was also excellent at greater distance. I could see green twigs and branches on a tree line that is about five miles from my observation and testing post.
Next I tested the clarity of the lettering in a shadowed street sign. Amazing, it too was bright and clear.
Everything that I looked at was almost a new experience. I performed real A/B testing of the objects with other field glasses bearing the same specification and having been found to be excellent performers.
One set of those field glasses was made by a famous maker and was found to be an excellent performer, although it costs almost twice the price of the Gosky under review, I found that those glasses performed no better and in fact did not have the brightness or detail provided by the Gosky.
I spent many enjoyable minutes just looking around and making new discoveries with the Gosky.
They are wonderful, they deserve a resounding rating of Five GIANT Stars for their astounding performance. Are they worth the price….well, let me put it this way. How about expecting more for your money and really getting it.
These Binocular by Gosky are well made, smooth focus adjustments that allow you to fine tune on an object. For fullest enjoyment I recommend a solid tripod mounting.
In my opinion you should be well satisfied with something that is noticeably better.

This is a good set of binoculars. The instructions are great and include pictures. They are lightweight, easy to hold, and easy to focus. The phone attachment is a nice bonus. It is made of sturdy plastic and works well. If you look at the photo of the green lawn you will see the bird feeder in the distance. The next picture is of the bird feeder through the binoculars (photo taken with phone attachment).
The only negative to this is the quality of the case. It’s not the worst case I’ve seen, but is seems a little low quality for the quality of the binoculars.
