I had a different model years ago that took batteries and didn’t find much use for it so gave it away.
I needed something to look in the P-trap to see if that was where my earring dropped. The included hook worked perfectly to catch it!
I looked around for more uses;
•Sewing machine, looked inside the housing and it was clean, didn’t have to open the case to see or to clean.
•Looked down the tortoise den to see the collapsed tunnel after our heavy rains (in desert). The sharp focus is a very short distance from the camera but I could clearly see which way the tunnel went. In a larger area it is a bit harder to maneuver the cable vs a pipe.
•Looked under the refrigerator and yes, I have to clean that!
•Found a large clump of lint in the dryer vent hose to the outside but dryer itself was okay. Simple fix.
•Found money deep in the couch, too bad the included magnet can’t work on money but I did retrieve a small screwdriver!
The monitor is excellent, you can adjust the contrast for different lighting. Controls adjust light levels of the LEDs, color or black and white.
Charging is simple, using included cable (use any usb type charger).
Has a zoom of 1x, 1.5x and 2.0.
Focus is best from 2-10cm but I can still see at least 12’ away although that will be blurred.
Comes with attachments of a mirror, a hook, and a magnet. Mine came in a really nice hard-shell protective case.
To turn on and off, hold the power button down for a few seconds.
Overall, this is a very good endoscope and I’m sure I will find more things to do with it as I get time to play.
