This means you can not only play in 4K60, but also record and stream content at full 4K resolution at 60 frames per second so your gameplay will look buttery smooth.
And of course, if you really want to push the limits (and if your screen and game support it!) we can even ramp up the frame rate to 144 frames per second when at 2K/1440p resolution (the sweet spot for viewing on an iPad Pro), and an even more ludicrous 240Hz (frames per second) at 1080p – super useful if you want to do some sick slow-motion replays.
Direct HDMI Passthrough
The most requested feature requested in a sequel to the original ShadowCast was the ability to include an extra HDMI port for zero latency passthrough. Although impractical on a thumb-sized device like our Shadowcast, the ShadowCast 2 Pro has a lot more space to accommodate this much-asked-for request and allows users to game uninterrupted on their TV and use their capture feed for managing their stream – like interacting with the live stream viewers, positioning their webcam feed, adding logos and whatever fun elements they want to add. The passthrough allows you to seriously game without the distractions at zero latency.
