Just plugged it into the wall works great. A feature I like is that the plug fits flat against the socket so you can out your furniture right nest to the wall without having to worry about the cord sticking out horizontally. Also has four USB plugs on one side. Also I the unit gets the plug off the floor. I put it on the bottom shelf of my end table and it hides all those unsightly cords. Regular plugs are on al! 4 sides. I strongly recommend this product especially if you want get the “stick” off the floor.
