Instead of wasting my money on cloud backup of my important document and pictures, I stored them in external hard drive and put them in this Bag. As soon as you feel the cover, it is heavy and well protected materials. You can also put in passport or other important documents to preserve them in case of emergency.
This is firm and durable material. I feel safer using this product than any other bags. If you want to test it in real life before storing them, try to put in papers inside the bag and test it on fire or water. The zipper and 8 layers feel good and safe.

Impressive fire resistant

Waterproof test: I submerged the bottom part (because the zip is not completely closed, so there is no way to fully submerge and not expect the water didn’t get in). I checked 2.5h later and the water got inside completely soaked the inside. Verdict: failed.

However as disclosure, actual product inserts of this item is actually states it is only fire/water resistant. Not “proof” as described.

Fire resistant test: I used this strong propane torch (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C4TW72TP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). From the product review you can see how strong the fire came out from this torch. I subjected the bag to about 7 s and the result is very impressive. It was quite warm to the touch afterwards, but absolutely no sign of any burn indication at all. Verdict: passed with very impressive fire resistant.

While I haven’t taken a blowtorch to test it like some other reviewers, I’ve trusted that their tests prove the durability of this document bag. It’s slim, holds my important papers flat (I bought the larger size) and I feel more prepared in case of emergency. I’ve put it where I’d hide out during a tornado and it’d also be easy to grab to escape a fire. Hopefully neither will ever happen, but I feel better having it.

It is well made and water resistant. As far as the fireproof you will have to take the companies word for that. Big enough to hold regular file folders that aren’t stuffed. About 1″ in width. Strong zipper and Velcro to close the item. Would buy form again.
